| Dr. Ralf Klischewski |
| Ralf Klischewski graduated in
computer science and political science and holds a PhD in computer
science. Since 1987 he has worked on a number of research projects on
technology assessment, social-oriented design, and environmental
computing. In 1991 he joined the Informatics Department of the
University of Hamburg as a research assistant, since 1997 as assistant
professor ("Wissenschaftlicher Assistent"). For the spring semester of
2003 he has been Visiting Associate Professor at the Copenhagen
Business School.
From 1987 to 1995 he served on the board of FIfF
e.V., the German association of computer scientists for social
responsibility. From 1996 to 1999 he was manager of a small company
producing software for environmental management. Since 1997 he has
managed several projects on the development and deployment of
information systems for public administration. |

| Research Interests |
| At present, Ralf Klischewski has research interests
in systems development as networking, service flow management,
semantic web, and e-government. Based on his dissertation "Anarchy -
a guidance for computer science" he frequently addresses fundamental
questions of the social aspects of computing such as modelling or the
role of social actors in software development. |
